We drive all the way up to Vero Beach to take a look at a dinghy and then head to Salorman to see what kind of outboards they have for sale.

The gentleman who sold us the AB inflatable dinghy was very generous and gave us a great deal on it. It came with the paddles, repair kit and everything. We wanted to test it out but thought that using the long shaft outboard that was on Luna probably wouldn’t work very well. Maybe it would flip us but we weren’t willing to find out.

We took a drive out to Sailorman to see what kind of used outboards they had and we did find a decent 9.9hp Mercury bit it was a little bit out of our budget. We’re going to keep looking and see what we can find. With everything going on, we have a little time before we plan to put Luna back in the water. We are leaving for Sebring for the races on Tuesday the 12th! Can’t wait!
