12 METRE CHALLENGE AMERICA’S CUP RACING EXPERIENCE

We are not on our Catalina 22 sailboat this time. We have upgraded for this trip!

Our second time in Cozumel Mexico was amazing! We raced a retired 1987 America’s Cup racing yachts. I can’t begin to explain how much fun this trip was. They let us run the winches and everything! The fact that we have been introduced to the world of sailing already and know a lot of the terminology was really helpful and made the race that much more exciting. Trip advisor ranks this tour as one of the top things to do in Cozumel and we agree.

We ended our day with some shrimp fajitas, some more beer and some shopping in the port. I bought overpriced Mexican chocolate for the family. Thankfully it was good.
