Day 3 of our 7 day Royal Caribbean cruise on the Oasis of the Seas.
Our first port of call was Labadee Haiti, Royal Caribbean’s private island. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect after the several weeks we had full of rain in South Florida.
Our first stop was at the local Artisan Market where we looked around and chatted with a few of the locals. Rob of course had to put on a heavy southern accent as he spoke with them. To be quite honest, a lot of the merchandise in the shops were the same and probably mostly from china.
We made our way to the Dragon’s Tail Coaster. I didn’t get an all day pass this year mainly because they only had one left. I insisted that Rob take it so I can just sit in the water and do absolutely nothing while he was riding it but he still got me one ride (so sweet). The coaster is a nice balance between getting to see the gorgeous views of the island and a some adrenaline at times. You get to control the speed of your cart. The only negative is the ride is over in just a couple of minutes if you go with no breaks.
We finally remembered that there was a floating bar in one of the beaches so naturally we made our way there. They had a drink called the Labadoozy and it was delicious! We missed the lunch buffet hanging out under the tiki umbrellas while we made some new friends.
